ALUME Farm · Aderno, Aritaguá · Ilhéus, Bahia

Some places are best understood by walking through them.

Fazenda ALUME is a living library, alive pantry, and a living pharmacy.

We welcome schools, researchers, partners, organisations, and curious minds to experience and feel what sintropy and integration means in our vision.

What to expect

Every visit is different because the land is always changing.

Visits are tailored to the interests of each group and typically include a guided walk through restoration areas, agroforestry systems, and recovering Atlantic Forest. Along the way, we share the history of the land, our restoration approach, ongoing projects, and the lessons we continue to learn.

Depending on the purpose of the visit, discussions may also include biodiversity, regenerative agriculture, community initiatives, circular economy, scientific monitoring, or the future vision of ALUME.
